Privacy Policy


New regulations from May 2018 (General Data Protection Regulation, or ‘GDPR’) require businesses to be fully transparent about how they are using personal data. This Privacy Policy describes how and when we collect, use, and share information when you purchase an item from, contact us, or otherwise use our sites and services.

Information we collect:

If you buy and/or download a product from us, your transaction (and digital delivery) will be handled by 2checkout ( 2checkout will collect information relating to the transaction and also some information returned by the payment gateway (PayPal, 2checkout) – they do NOT record customer credit card or bank details. We ( also receive a confirmation email from 2checkout with details of your order, for our records. For all visitors to our site we collect aggregated information (via Google Analytics) – visited pages, popular products, customer location, browser details – things like that.

Why we need your information:

We rely on a number of legal bases to collect, use, and share your information, including:

1) To provide and improve our services, such as when we use your information to fulfil your order, to provide customer support, or to notify you of updates to your purchased product.
2) When you have provided your affirmative consent (which you may revoke at any time) such as by signing up for our Newsletter.
3) To assess and monitor the security of our website to ensure data breaches do not occur.
4) When necessary to comply with a legal obligation, such as retaining information about your purchases as required by tax law.

Use of Data:

Some data is used so that the online shopping cart and checkout work properly. In particular, this site uses ‘Cookies’ to record session information on the device you are using to access our website. These cookies might, for example, keep a track of the contents of your shopping cart while you’re browsing the store.

Naturally enough, if you place an order, your name and email address, and the name of the product, are stored so we can confirm your order and provide you with a link to download the product. We may later notify you if there is an update to your product, and we may also send you our occasional Newsletter with information about our ( products, updates, and services that we feel may be of interest to you. We use Mailchimp ( for our Newsletter – every automated email from us (via Mailchimp) will include an option to unsubscribe at the foot of the email.

Some data is also used to help us analyse site performance, maintain site security, and prevent fraud.

Data Collection and Storage:

Some data (for example, the name and email address you supplied) is stored by us along with the order number, product and gateway transaction ID so that we can keep a brief record of each sale. It’s basically an email confirming your order. And because it’s an email, it will also be stored securely online with our website host, Limitless Internet Solutions Ltd (IE). If you request a separate invoice, we will obviously keep a copy at our end too.

Any purchase data stored by 2checkout and their hosting partners is stored by them in order to operate their digital delivery service.

Information is also stored by the payment gateways (PayPal, 2checkout) when transactions are processed by them.

Information Sharing and Disclosure:

We share your personal information for very limited reasons and in limited circumstances, as follows:

1) Service providers:
We engage certain trusted third parties to perform functions and provide services to our site, such digital delivery (2checkout), payment processing (PayPal, and 2checkout), Newsletter mailing (MailChimp), web analytics (Google), and site security (Wordfence). Some information is shared with these third parties and their hosting partners, only to the extent necessary to perform these functions and services.

2) Business transfers:
If we sell or merge our business, we may disclose your information as part of that transaction, only to the extent permitted by law.

3) Compliance with laws:
We may collect, use, retain, and share your information if we have a good faith belief that it is reasonably necessary to: (a) respond to legal process or to government requests; (b) enforce our agreements, terms and policies; (c) prevent, investigate, and address fraud and other illegal activity, security, or technical issues; or (d) protect the rights, property, and safety of our customers, or others.
